March 26 – Matthew 26:36-46
- How often do we ask God to get us out of a difficult situation or something that we don’t want to do?
- Do we need to be completely honest with ourselves, others and God before we can completely surrender?
- How often do we want to do the right thing but temptation gets in the way?
- How do we overcome temptation when it comes our way?
March 27 – Matthew 26:47-56
- How often do we try to defend Jesus, when He can defend Himself?
- Do we try to do God’s plan our way? How well does it work out?
- Would betrayal really be an option if we didn’t gain or profit somehow?
March 28 – Matthew 26:57-68
- If Jesus was claiming to be the Son of God and wasn’t, did He really deserve death?
- Do we stay silent with the truth because we don’t want to face the repercussions of proclaiming what is right?
- How easy is it to manipulate or avoid the truth to make ourselves look better or to destroy someone else?
March 29 – Matthew 27:11-26
- Are you fickle enough to be persuaded by public opinion, no matter how wrong it is?
- How often do we try to proclaim our own innocence in a situation so that we can sleep better?
- Are we more concerned with our own comfort and popularity rather than what is right and true?
March 30 – Matthew 27:32-56
- What is the significance of the curtain being torn in half?
- Is the phrase “why have you forsaken me” a cry of desperation or of victory?
March 31 – Matthew 28:1-15
- How often are lies told so that we can save our own skin?
- How often do we look for Jesus in all the wrong places?
- When we encounter the living, breathing Jesus, do we keep it to ourselves, or do we go out and share with others?
