At Darrow Road, the faith formation of our children is very important to us. We strive to make the Biblical lessons relevant for today’s children.
Darrow Road Wesleyan Church presents a unified Bible based curriculum for Christ centered education. The lessons in Children’s Church and Faithweavers build on the same Bible point for the week. This allows parents the ability to reinforce the lessons at home as they also have studied the same Bible point in Adult Sunday School.
Children’s Church: Children worship with their families at 10:00 a.m. until after the offering at which time they are excused for children’s church. The lessons of the day are presented in an age appropriate manner through songs, crafts, and Bible stories. For children preschool through grade 5.
Faithweavers meet every Wednesday throughout the school year. If there is not school we do not meet. At 4:45 we meet together in the Fellowship Hall for a supper provided by volunteers. Children, youth, and adults are welcome for the meal. We average about 30 children for Faithweaver’s. We have a snack, Bible Story, game, and a craft. We divide them into smaller groups and rotate every 15 minutes.
