    How often do we try to manipulate God to try to get out of something?

    What is more important, our questions, or the intentions behind those questions?

December 15 – 1 Samuel 8:1-22

    Was Israel rejecting Samuel or God?

    Why do we desire a king or leader that we can see, feel and or touch?

    How often do we want to be judged by human standards and not God’s standards?

    Can we have obedience without submission?

    What does it mean to continually sacrifice?

    Why do we have issues of submission to those we disagree with or hate?

    What does it mean to have the mind of Christ?

    Are we willing to be obedient even if it costs us something great?
