January 7 – Nehemiah 2:11-18

Before saying yes to something, how important is it to count the cost and to see what is    required of us?

When we keep things close to the vest, is it so we can deceive or to make sure all of our ducks are in a row before the big announcement?

How often do we face opposition for our ideas when we share them?

January 8 – Isaiah 6:1-7

When we are before God, are we taking an honest look at who we are and our               relationship to Him?

In our worship, how do we recognize that God is our friend, and yet a Holy God,              deserving of all our praise?

January 9 – John 4:1-26

How often does God call us out of our comfort zone to do something counter cultural?

How often do we try to conceal things from God, and He calls us out on it?

How often do we ask God for a temporary fix and He gives the eternal answer?

January 10 – Mark 9:14-27

How often do we try to take over things that we think Jesus cannot do or will not do?

What does this say about our faith?

How often do we claim belief in Jesus, but we have no spiritual punch or we don’t live out our faith daily?

January 11 – John 3:1-21

What does it mean to be born of the spirit?

How is our belief tied to what we have witnessed?

Why would we rather live in darkness than in God’s truth?

January 12 – Luke 5:1-11

How often do we tell God “no” when He ask or tells us to something, even though it will be in our best interest?

If Jesus is the Lord of all, how should we live our lives differently?

January 13 – Luke 17:7-14

How often do we think that God owes us something for just showing up?

How often is our obedience tied to God showing up and providing miracles?
