March 11 – Matthew 21:23-32

  1. Is being ignorant and blissful the best way to go about and live life?
  2. How do our actions show who or what rules our lives?
  3. If we are going to challenge authority, especially God’s, are we prepared to handle the consequences of doing so?

March 12 – Matthew 21:33-46; Psalm 118:22-29

  1. Is the cornerstone in reference to Jesus being the foundation of our faith, or is it the people He chose to carry out His plan?
  2. How different would our attitude and outlook be if we realized that every day is a day that God has made?

March 13 – Matthew 22:1-22

  1. Do we try to get into heaven without exchanging our righteousness for God’s righteousness?
  2. How often do we put off what God has asked us to do for what we think is better?
  3. How much of God’s Kingdom is about finding people we didn’t expect would be there?

March 14 – Matthew 22:23-45; Psalm 110:1-7

  1. Why do we keep adding rules when we can’t keep the two most basic ones?
  2. Do we ask questions so we can put the answers into practice, to justify our own actions, or to trip up the other person?
  3. How often does silence speak volumes?

March 15 – Matthew 23:1-14

  1. How often do we place burdens or expectations on others that we have no intention of keeping ourselves?
  2. Is humility about degrading our self-worth, or thinking less about ourselves and how great we think we are?
  3. How often do we do things because it gives us or power and authority, whether it is perceived or real?

March 16 – Matthew 23:15-26

  1. How much of being a hypocrite is about putting on a show for others and even ourselves?
  2. How often do we miss the bigger sin or issue because we are distracted with something that is petty?
  3. Is our integrity lacking if we have to swear to something to keep ourselves accountable or to have people believe  that we will do something?

March 17 – Matthew 23:27-39

  1. How often do we think that we would be different if we lived in a different time or place or hung with different people?
  2. How often do we condemn others while we either do the same thing or something worse?
  3. Does God only show up when we are ready to receive Him and embrace His ways?
