January 6 – Matthew 22:1-14

  1. How often do we try to earn our way into heaven by making ourselves look better than we really are?
  2. How often do we push away God’s invitation to something better because we don’t want to change?
  3. What does it mean to be the elect?

January 7 – Revelation 19:1-10

  1. How easy is it to worship the created instead of the Creator?
  2. What is the significance of the word hallelujah?
  3. Is this where God makes everything right and puts everything back in order?

January 8 – Ephesians 5:22-32

  1. What is sacrificial love, and what makes it such a challenge to do?
  2. What does it mean to submit to each other?
  3. What does it mean to be sanctified?

January 9 – Zechariah 3:1-7

  1. How do faith and salvation go along with obedience?
  2. How does the rebuking of Satan show God’s authority?
  3. What is the significance of the removal of the soiled clothing?

January 10 – Matthew 25:1-13

  1. How important is the self-examination of where we are spiritually?
  2. What prevents us from doing this?
  3. Does our faith really run out if we don’t care for it and allow it to grow?

January 11 – Revelation 22:7-17

  1. If God is returning soon, how are we preparing ourselves and others?
  2. Are we willing to pay the consequences of our actions, and if we aren’t what needs to change?
  3. If we are all thirsty for something, are we drinking what satisfies?
  4. Does something being free mean that it is not worthwhile or that it might cost us something great?

January 12 – Isaiah 61:10-11

  1. What is the significance of being clothed with salvation and righteousness?
  2. How is righteousness a by-product of salvation?
